Proven home goods business ideas, backed by real ad data
Four home brands that keep paying for Meta ads month after month: what they sell, why it keeps selling, and the ads doing the work.
Why ads prove an idea
Home goods look like a hard place to start. Furniture needs warehouses and freight, and big retailers own the obvious products. But some of the longest-running ads in the category come from small brands selling one simple product people did not know they needed.
A simple way to find what works is to follow the money. Meta ads cost money every day they run, so a brand that keeps one ad live for years is telling you that ad pays for itself. These four home brands do exactly that.
1. A pillow designed for two
Pillow Pod makes L-shaped pillows for couples and for anyone who reads or watches TV in bed. It is one product in a few colours, sold in the UK and Australia.
Two of its ads have been live for more than three years. Both are simple discount pictures, an extra 15% off with a code, which tells you the product sells itself once people see it.
2. Plastic-free sponges and cloths
Seep sells kitchen sponges, cloths and cleaning kits made from plant-based materials instead of plastic. It advertises in the UK, where most of its ads carry the same badge: as seen on Dragons' Den.
Its longest-running ad, a founder video about wiping out plastic waste, ran for more than eight months. A newer video, live for more than seven months and still running, sells one sponge on how long it lasts.
3. Photo tiles that stick to the wall
Mixtiles turns phone photos into framed tiles that stick to the wall without nails and can be moved as often as you like. It advertises across Europe, the US and beyond, with more than 200 ads live.
Its longest ads, live for around two years, are short videos of someone pressing tiles onto a wall. The line under them is the whole pitch: easy to stick, remove and re-stick.
4. Reusable bottles and cups with a design edge
SHO sells insulated bottles and coffee cups in bold designs from the UK. One of its ads, for a cup that keeps drinks hot for six hours, has run for more than two years.
Its other long-running ads lean on offers, 20% off a first bottle or a third one free, and on reviews from families who own ten of them.

Meta ads cost money every day they run. A brand that keeps the same ad live for months is paying for it because it brings in more than it costs, so the longer an ad runs, the stronger the proof.
